Logistics & Transport Manager Fife Tuesday - Saturday (2.30am - 10am) £45,000 - £50,000 Alexander Steele are delighted to be supporting an FMCG business with the recruitment of a newly created Logistics & Transport Manager position. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business and take ownership of the logistics operation, leading a team of drivers and logistics professionals while driving service, efficiency, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead, coach and develop the Logistics and Driving teams. Drive employee engagement, retention, training and performance. Ensure exceptional customer service and on-time delivery performance. Oversee route planning, resource allocation and operational scheduling. Manage fleet standards, vehicle compliance and health & safety requirements. Monitor and improve key logistics KPIs. Identify and implement process improvements across the operation. Build strong working relationships across the wider business to enhance operational performance.

About You Proven experience within Logistics, Transport or Distribution Management. Previous experience leading and developing teams. Strong understanding of route planning, fleet management and operational logistics. A hands-on leader who enjoys being close to the operation. Excellent problem-solving, organisational and communication skills. Experience driving continuous improvement and operational efficiencies. Transport, FMCG, food manufacturing or distribution experience would be advantageous.
