Accounts Assistant / Technician

Part time Temporary (3 months) with a view to permanency - Hours are 9am - 1pm (flexibility offered on start and finish time)

• Accounts administrator will be tasked with recording and managing financial transactions and ensuring accuracy in ledgers and journals.
• Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records, purchase orders and supplier invoices
• Processing business transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, expense vouchers and receipts
• Updating and maintaining accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions
• Reconciling records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers
• Preparing and delivering periodic reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legal regulations and company policies
• Maintaining confidential financial information and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of all data
• Assisting with audits and resolving discrepancies, stock take trails

• Sound Knowledge of Sage financial Accounting Software and Money soft Payroll Software (Monthly wages) less than 10 Employees
• Knowledge of Google Sheets desirable but not essential
• Proficient in Excel and Word
• At least 3 years experience in a similar role
