VANRATH are delighted to be partnered with an international manufacturing business based in Dungannon who are currently recruiting a Cost Accountant to join their team. Due to increased investment, the business requires a Cost Accountant to join their team for a period of 12-18 months to focus on developing the costing of products analysing production variances and reducing stock.

The Cost Accountant must have manufacturing experience, have strong organisation skills, and an ability to work closely with operational managers.

• Senior Accountant with 3+ years PQE
• Manufacturing experience
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for details
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with non-finance staff

• Analyse actual recorded production against estimated production for labour and materials
• Monitor standard costs
• New product costing
• Support stock takes both annually and monthly
• Review manufacturing performance and stock holdings
• Reduce raw materials, improve buying accuracy
