Job Title:

Sales Administrator

About the Role

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Sales Department, ensuring accurate processing of vehicle orders, registrations, and related documentation. This role is essential for smooth vehicle delivery and excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete new vehicle registrations using the online system
  • Maintain accurate records for used car taxation programmes in line with company and legal requirements
  • Ensure all DVLA documentation is accurately completed and submitted on time
  • Process paperwork for plate transfers, maintaining precision and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure deal file documentation complies with internal policies and audit standards
  • Input vehicle orders onto the Manufacturer’s system based on signed customer agreements
  • Monitor and track vehicle movements within the managed supply system
  • Notify the Sales Office promptly of all vehicles sold and registered
  • Manage delivery documentation for incoming vehicles
  • Support the ordering and sourcing of new vehicles as required
  • Deliver high‑quality administrative support to the Sales Team
  • Respond to customer queries efficiently, maintaining high customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless handover and delivery processes
Required Qualifications
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and maintain compliance with DVLA and internal guidelines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English (or predicted grades)
  • A minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous experience in sales administration in an automotive environment
  • Experience in an administrative role
