Overview
Consumable Buyer – Dungannon (Full-time, Permanent)
Office-based role responsible for purchasing goods, materials and services to support production and sales. You’ll manage supplier relationships, monitor inventory levels, negotiate pricing, and ensure a consistent supply of consumables while staying within budget.
- Daily purchasing using Sage Line 50
- Managing stock levels and supplier call-offs
- Negotiating supplier contracts and reducing costs
- Monitoring supplier performance and handling issues
- Producing reports on spend, performance, and shortages
- Ensuring compliance with ISO
9001 and H&S standards
- Experience in buying/procurement (ideally manufacturing)
- Sage and strong Excel skills desirable
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
- Relevant qualification preferred (degree or NVQ Level
4)
