Do you enjoy turning data into clear answers, spotting patterns and working with people across a business? As a Junior Pricing Analyst, you will help us make well-informed pricing decisions for our global parts business. You will work with data every day, but you will not work in isolation. You will collaborate with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales and Finance to understand costs, customer needs and market dynamics, and to translate these insights into accurate, commercially sound prices.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional who is curious, numerate and eager to develop. You will receive guidance from experienced colleagues, contribute to real business projects and build a strong foundation in pricing, analytics and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support the set-up, review and maintenance of spare parts prices throughout the product lifecycle, helping to balance customer value, market competitiveness and sustainable profitability.
- Analyse sales, cost, margin, market and competitor data to identify trends, exceptions and pricing opportunities.
- Prepare regular pricing reports, dashboards and clear summaries that help colleagues and leaders make informed decisions.
- Work closely with Purchasing to understand cost changes and their impact on pricing and margins.
- Partner with Customer Service and Sales to investigate pricing questions, support quotations and improve the customer and dealer experience.
- Collaborate with Finance to validate data, monitor margin performance and support planning and reporting activities.
- Maintain high-quality pricing data in business systems and support the ongoing development of pricing tools, processes and business rules, including Syncron.
- Assist with market and competitor research and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Support pricing projects, testing, documentation and training materials for end users.
- Contribute ideas that simplify processes, improve data quality and strengthen collaboration across the Materials Processing Parts organisation.
- You enjoy working with numbers and data, while also building relationships and solving problems with colleagues from different departments.
- Bachelor’s degree, apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Data Analytics or a related field. Relevant internship or first work experience is welcome, but not essential.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and confidence learning new analytical and business systems.
- Strong analytical thinking, curiosity and attention to detail, with the ability to identify patterns and explain what the data means.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings in a practical, easy-to-understand way.
- A collaborative approach and confidence working with Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales, Finance and other international teams.
- Well-organised, dependable and able to manage priorities with support in a fast-moving environment.
- Fluent written and spoken English. Additional languages are an advantage.
- A learning mindset and the confidence to ask questions, challenge assumptions respectfully and seek support when needed.
- Interest in commercial decision-making, pricing, manufacturing or the aftermarket business.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, ERP systems or pricing software is helpful, but not required.
- The ability to combine accuracy with a practical, customer-focused perspective.
- A structured introduction to pricing, our global parts business and the systems used in the role.
- Hands‑on development through real projects, mentoring and collaboration with experienced colleagues.
- Broad exposure to Purchasing, Customer Service, Sales and Finance, creating a strong platform for future career development.
- An international, supportive working environment where your ideas and continuous improvement mindset are valued.
