Competitive, dependent on experience About the Role RP Group is looking for a friendly, organised and motivated Customer Service & Sales Administrator to join our team. This is a key role within the business, supporting both our customers and sales team throughout the complete order process. You will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, processing orders, providing delivery and availability information and ensuring customers receive a professional and responsive service.

You will work closely with our Sales, Production, Purchasing and Warehouse teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and delivered. We are looking for someone who enjoys dealing with customers, takes ownership of their responsibilities and is comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment. Previous knowledge of hydraulics or engineering products is not essential, as full product and industry training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities Handle customer enquiries by telephone and email in a professional and efficient manner Process customer orders accurately and efficiently Provide customers with information on pricing, availability, orders and expected delivery dates Monitor outstanding orders and proactively communicate updates or potential delays Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Sales team Prepare and process quotations and follow up customer requirements where appropriate Liaise with Sales, Production, Purchasing and Warehouse teams to ensure customer requirements are met Resolve customer queries and issues promptly, taking ownership through to completion Maintain accurate customer records and update internal systems Build and maintain strong working relationships with existing customers Help identify and communicate potential sales opportunities to the wider Sales team Contribute to maintaining the high level of customer service expected from RP Group About You The successful candidate will:
Have excellent communication and customer service skills Be confident dealing with customers by telephone and email Be highly organised with strong attention to detail Be comfortable managing multiple orders, enquiries and priorities Have a proactive approach and willingness to learn Take ownership of customer requirements and follow tasks through to completion Be able to work independently while also contributing as part of a wider team Have good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Have a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude Previous experience in customer service, sales administration, order processing or a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Experience with in manufacturing, engineering, hydraulics or industrial distribution would also be advantageous but is not required. Training & Development Full training on RP Group's products, systems and processes will be provided. We are open to candidates who may not have direct industry experience but who have the right attitude, communication skills and willingness to learn and develop within the role.
