The Role Producing detailed timber frame design drawings ready for production Interpreting client requirements during the design phase of projects Creating and amending technical drawings using AutoCAD and Sketch Up Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and internal teams Ensuring drawings meet relevant specifications, standards and safety regulations Taking part in design and process reviews Receiving ongoing training to develop timber frame design knowledge

The Person CAD Technician, Architectural Technician or similar Confident using AutoCAD Sketch Up experience beneficial Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Strong attention to detail and logical problem-solving ability Able to read and understand engineering or technical drawings Good communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally UK driving licence and access to own transport Based within commuting distance of Cookstown Benefits Full training in timber frame design Long-term progression Opportunity to become a technical specialist Overtime to increase earnings (Payed 1.5x hourly rate) Growing family-run company Close-knit team environment On-site parking Varied construction and residential projects .
