Mechanical Design Engineer

Our busy Engineering client in the Dungannon area are currently seeking a Production Design Engineer to join their engineering team. This role will involve taking ownership of products as they transition into production while supporting continuous improvement and product development within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities Transition developed products into production Develop and implement product design improvements Produce 2D and 3D CAD models and engineering drawings Provide engineering support to production teams Work closely with sales to provide technical specifications and drawings Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency Support sourcing of materials and components for new designs Provide technical support to customers and the aftersales team Requirements Degree in Engineering with 3+ years design experience or 5+ years relevant design experience Experience using CAD software (Solid Works or similar desirable) Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and organisational skills

Experience with in materials handling, hydraulics, electrical control systems, or diesel engine installations would be advantageous.
