About the Role:
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design and development of heavy machinery. In this key role, you will work on innovative projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet the needs of our international customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Take ownership of mechanical design projects, from concept to production. Lead a team in creating, testing, and refining new designs for heavy machinery. Produce detailed 3D models, technical drawings, and engineering documentation. Collaborate closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective. Apply industry best practices to improve machinery performance, durability, and safety. Conduct design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and integrate innovative solutions into designs. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new products.
Essential Criteria :
Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 3 years plus experience in mechanical design, within heavy machinery manufacturing. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., Solid Works, Creo, or similar). Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
