This is a fantastic opportunity to work with industry‑leading equipment while supporting customers and dealer networks across the world.
The RoleAs a Field Service Engineer, you'll play a key role in supporting a global dealer network, providing expert technical assistance, troubleshooting complex issues, and helping drive continuous product improvement. This position offers a unique blend of field‑based engineering, technical support, diagnostics, commissioning, and collaboration with engineering and quality teams. International travel will form an important part of the role.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to dealers and customers across service, warranty and product‑related matters
- Travel internationally to support commissioning, diagnostics, troubleshooting and dealer activities
- Investigate and resolve mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults
- Deliver practical solutions to minimise equipment downtime and maximise customer satisfaction
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to identify recurring issues and support product improvements
- Assist with testing, validation and performance assessment of new products and product enhancements
- Maintain accurate service reports, documentation and technical records
- Build strong working relationships with customers, dealers and internal teams
Essential
- Previous field service, maintenance or technical support experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical engineering background
- Knowledge of diesel‑hydraulic and electro‑hydraulic systems
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and service documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Full UK driving licence
- Valid passport and willingness to travel internationally
- Excellent fault‑finding and diagnostic ability
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
