Full-time, Permanent About the Role On behalf of our client, a leading global manufacturer of heavy machinery, we are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Dungannon. You will be responsible for developing machinery concepts from initial specification through to production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities Create 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs). Design robust mechanical components, structural weldments, and hydraulic systems. Conduct FEA simulations and structural calculations to ensure product durability. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to optimise designs for assembly (DFMA). Manage engineering change notices (ECNs) to update and improve existing product lines. Experience and Requirements Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.

3+ years of experience in a heavy manufacturing or materials handling environment. Proficient in 3D CAD software (such as Solid Works or Creo) and PDM systems. Strong understanding of steel fabrication, welding symbols, and machining tolerances. Valid, clean UK driving licence.
