Maintenance Engineer (Day Shift)

This role is multi-skilled and only on days, with good working hours. Based in the Dungannon area, our client is a lead FMCG company who is renowned for offering attractive salaries and keeping employees happy. This role is due to growth; the company has built a new state of the art factory and need more hands to help prevent downtime in production.

Working hours:

Monday to Friday: 6:30am-3:30pm

What the job entails:

• Attending to reactive maintenance problems and repair breakdowns
• Ensure machinery and services are maintained via PPM to meet individual department requirements
• Assist production as an engineer by timely attending any issues which occur during the running of the equipment
• Support engineering projects as required
• Record accurately, information on the CMMS system in relation to planned maintenance and breakdowns
• Attend meetings when required by manager
• Liaise and communicate with colleagues and departments
• Ensure all work carried out complies with relative HACCP and H&S legislation

What you will need for this role:

• A time served multi-skilled engineer with formal qualifications
• Ideally a minimum of 3 years hands-on maintenance experience
• Experience working with PLCs is desirable
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a team
