Graduate​/Design Engineer

Your New Role As a Graduate/Design Engineer, you will support the design and development of innovative engineering products from concept through to manufacture. Working closely with senior engineers and cross-functional departments, you will gain exposure to the full product development lifecycle while developing your technical and commercial engineering knowledge. Key duties will include:
Producing 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings. Supporting new product development and product improvement projects. Assisting with engineering calculations, testing and validation activities. Preparing technical documentation and bills of materials. Liaising with production teams to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable. Collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery. Supporting cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives. Ensuring designs comply with quality, safety and customer requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this opportunity, you should have:
Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design Engineering or a related discipline. Knowledge of Solid Works Essential. Strong understanding of engineering design principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Strong communication and organisational skills. A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. Placement year or internship experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
