Accounts Officer

We are currently working with a locally owned growing business who manufacture and supply premier products to their customers. Due to continued growth our client is currently looking to recruit for an Accounts Officer to join their team.

The successful candidate will work closely with the senior management team and be responsible for overseeing the accounts function.

The Role

• Preparing monthly management accounts
• Preparation and submitting VAT returns
• Completion of company bank reconciliations
• Maintain monthly and long-term cashflow forecasts
• Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Completing supplier payment runs
• Processing of invoices and dealing with any invoice disputes
• Completion of month end reporting processes
• Payroll duties
• Other relevant ad hoc duties

Essential Criteria

• A minimum of 3 (+) years experience in a similar role
• An accounts qualification
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload
• A positive can-do attitude towards work
• Excellent communication skills
