As Financial Controller, you'll take on a key role within the senior finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Director and you will operate as number two within the finance function. You'll have significant exposure across the business, working closely with senior stakeholders while taking ownership of the day-to-day finance.

It's an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who enjoys being close to the business, influencing decisions and making a genuine impact. The role is initially being offered on a 6-month contract, with strong potential to become permanent for the right person.

• Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Proven experience in financial management within a similar environment
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
• Advanced Excel proficiency and sound knowledge of accounting software
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities

• Lead the preparation of quarterly management accounts
• Manage external audits and liaise with auditors and advisorsloads se?
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes
• Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and compliance standards
• Support strategic decision-making with insightful financial analysis
• Ensure accurate cashflow management and supplier payments
• Drive continuous improvement in finance systems and processes
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team
