The post holder will assist the Manager in the delivery of high quality short break in Woodlawn House and Hillview short break units. The post holder will, assist in the day to day management of the service and will share the responsibility for all aspects of nursing, clinical governance and management. The post holder will demonstrate a high level of skills, knowledge, experience and competencies to provide leadership, supervision and support to all staff within the team.
Responsibilities- Allocate staff within the facility and ensure appropriate delegation of staff and mix to meet residence/patient need.
- Currently a Registered Learning Disability Nurse on Part 1 of the Live NMC Register.
- Evidence of Post Qualifying Training relevant to individuals with a learning disability who have complex care needs and present with behaviours which challenge.
