As a Volkswagen Service Technician, you’ll play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and servicing vehicles while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to build on your expertise through the Volkswagen Group manufacturer pathway, ensuring your career continues to grow with structured training and ongoing support.
Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, and service the full range of Volkswagen Commercial vehicles in line with manufacturer standards
- Carry out vehicle road testing to ensure all repairs meet quality and safety requirements
- Handle, store, and manage vehicle parts correctly, ensuring compliance with workshop and brand procedures
- Deliver a high‑quality customer experience at every stage of the service journey, ensuring great service from start to finish
- Fully qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or an equivalent such as City & Guilds or BTEC
- Minimum of 2 years’ post‑qualification experience in a technician role within a busy workshop
- Hold a full, valid UK driving licence for vehicle road testing
- High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality, right‑first‑time repairs
- Professional attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to complete Volkswagen manufacturer training and adapt to new systems and technologies
- Strong focus on health and safety, ensuring all work meets company procedures and manufacturer standards
