Finance Manager

Description

We are hiring for our client, a well-established and growing business in Co. Tyrone, supplying customers across the UK and Ireland. This Finance Manager role offers the opportunity to step into a hands‑on leadership position where your insights and decisions directly influence the business. Reporting to the Managing Director, you’ll lead a small finance team, strengthen financial processes, and provide strategic guidance during an important transition period.

• Take full ownership of monthly management accounts and provide meaningful insights to the Managing Director
• Lead, mentor, and develop a small finance team
• Strengthen financial processes and ensure reporting accuracy
• Manage cash flow to support sustainable growth
• Oversee payroll, HMRC returns, and statutory compliance
• Lead year‑end audits and liaise with external auditors
• Partner with operational departments to support commercial decision‑making
• Contribute to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience
• Commercially aware and confident in interpreting financial data
• Proactive and comfortable leading from the front
• Highly organised with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Excel and financial systems
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a commercially focused finance role
• Ambitious, proactive, and ready for genuine responsibility

• £50,000–£60,000 salary depending on experience
