Workshop Controller - Jaguar Land Rover
Donnelly Group is hiring an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Jaguar Land Rover team. Working within a busy and successful dealership, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role, supporting our workshop team and helping to deliver high standards of performance, quality and customer service.
About the roleAbout This Role
- Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure vehicles complete the eVHC process and support Service Advisors with additional work requirements, costs and timings.
- Monitor repairs to ensure all work is completed correctly, efficiently and Right First Time.
- Identify warranty repairs and obtain authorisation where required.
- Support Technicians with complex technical issues, escalating where necessary.
- Keep Service Advisors updated on repair progress and any additional work identified.
- Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate, complete and suitable for customer explanations and warranty claims.
- Carry out quality control checks, including road tests where required.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Ensure completed vehicles are prepared and ready for customer collection.
The Person
- Ideally qualified to Master Technician level with previous supervisory or workshop management experience.
- Must have at least 3 - 4 years experience, ideally within a franchised workshop.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
