We are looking for a Live Bird Intake Officer to join our dedicated team in Pilgrim's Europe - Moy Park at Dungannon site. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company committed to quality, safety, and excellence.

  Working hours are 17:45pm - 02:00am, Monday to Friday

• Manage and transfer records/documents from farms to factory systems.
• Ensure welfare checks are completed and records maintained for each trailer.
• Verify all computer records for accuracy and completion.
• Maintain the flow of trailers within the factory to support production.
• Report breakdowns, issues, or discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure all trailers are weighed in/out and records align.
• Liaise with Process 1 managers on bird numbers and intake scheduling.
• Oversee unloading of birds, ensuring high welfare standards.
• Follow biosecurity and hygiene protocols at all times.
• Contribute to a safe working environment and uphold environmental standards.
• Support housekeeping of yard and lairage areas.

• Take reasonable care for the safety of yourself and others.
• Follow company Health & Safety procedures and wear protective equipment.
• Report incidents, hazards, or unsafe practices immediately.
• Promote safe systems of work and a culture of compliance.

• Ability to read and understand English.
• Good numeracy and literacy skills.
• Manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Computer literate.

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Food factory or poultry experience.
