Procurement Officer

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our major client, a large organisation with the recruitmentof a Procurement Officer to join their team based in Dungannon
.

• £34,000 - £38,000 salary
• Maternity Cover contract
• Early finish every Friday

You'll be joining a well-established manufacturing organisation with a strong reputation for quality, engineering, and operational excellence.

• Third-level qualification in business, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in a busy office or supply chain environment
• Strong IT skills with experience using ERP or MRP systems
• Experience with Oracle is desirable
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Desirable: CIPS qualified or working towards this
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment

• Schedule and manage the flow of production parts from suppliers to support manufacturing
• Liaise with suppliers and internal production teams to maintain supply continuity
• Raise purchase orders and approve supplier invoices
• Monitor and update pricing agreements
• Support tendering and pricing requests
• Attend daily planning and control meetings
• Maintain accurate data within the ERP system
