Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer (KYDSME
1603) Dungannon, Northern Ireland
A growing and well‑established manufacturing business in Dungannon is seeking a Dual Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join its engineering team. This role offers the opportunity to work within a modern production environment, supporting machinery, plant services and continuous improvement initiatives.
Working Pattern- Week 1: Monday–Friday | 06:00 – 15:00
- Week 2: Monday–Friday | 10:00 – 19:00
- Week 3: 3 weekdays | 08:00 – 17:00 + Saturday–Sunday | 07:00 – 17:00
As an Electrical Engineer, you will provide day‑to‑day electrical maintenance across production machinery, equipment and site services. You will play a key role in ensuring operational uptime through fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance and electrical project work.
Key Responsibilities- Provide electrical maintenance support to production, diagnosing and resolving faults to minimise downtime.
- Carry out inspection, repair and fault finding on production equipment.
- Complete and manage planned and reactive maintenance tasks through the maintenance management system.
- Support electrical installations, upgrades and commissioning projects.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased equipment reliability.
- Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure safe and effective maintenance practices.
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality procedures, including safe isolation practices.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
- Electrical engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship.
- Experience in electrical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic ability on electrical systems and control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
