About the Company:
Our client is seeking a motivated and skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in County Tyrone.
This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills further on a day-today basis within this well-known company which has expanded worldwide within the Manufacturing Industry.
You will be involved in daily support for the weld production teams across three materials and to support and lead improvement projects including introduction of new jigs/fixtures.
Key Responsibilities:- Daily support for the weld production teams across three materials.
- To support and lead improvement projects including introduction of new jigs/fixtures
- Lead robotic welding projects - including, research, creation of business cases and implementation of cells
- Help improve current processes and align these with the business' systems strategy
- To develop quality assurance procedures, standards and specifications in order to deliver consistency across all areas of the business
- To support the manufacturing operation in solving output and quality issues, adopting a systematic approach.
- Keep informed with manufacturing trends and approaches to developing efficient solutions.
- Support the production team in the resolution of engineering related issues.
- Adherence to our ISO 9001 Quality Management System & ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management System.
- Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
- Qualified to Degree Level in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in Manufacturing Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with in a welding department desirable.
- Understanding of Solidworks or similar 3D modelling software to create jigs and fixtures.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
- Experience with offline robot programming software's desirable
- Ability to manage projects and track through to completion
- Strong communication skills.
