  • Check deliveries against purchase orders and associated documentation.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, escalating issues where required.
  • Ensure incoming materials are correctly labelled, recorded and stored.
  • Maintain accurate stock records across all inventory movements.
  • Carry out regular stock checks, cycle counts and reconciliations.
  • Investigate stock discrepancies and support corrective actions to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure materials are stored, handled and identified in line with company procedures.
  • Prepare goods for despatch and ensure orders are ready within agreed timescales.
  • Liaise with transport and logistics providers to coordinate collections and deliveries.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse and stores area.
  • Maximise available storage space while ensuring materials remain accessible and easy to locate.
  • Work closely with Production, Procurement, Planning, Quality and Supply Chain to ensure material availability supports production requirements.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a busy operational environment.
  • Basic IT skills with the ability to use stock systems, ERP software and/or spreadsheets.
