Previous bench joinery, workshop joinery or joinery shop experience is essential. Minimum 2 years joinery experience is preferred for this role. Applicants without relevant joinery experience will not be suitable.

8:00am - 4:30pm, with the option to start at 7:00am and finish at 4:30pm Job Type: Full-time | Permanent Experienced Bench Joiner Required Kettering Quest Employment are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Joiner to join a well-established bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Kettering, NN16. This is a permanent opportunity for a skilled joiner who has proper workshop or joinery shop experience and can confidently produce high-quality timber products with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate must be able to read technical drawings, measure accurately, use joinery machinery and hand tools, and manufacture bespoke joinery such as windows, doors, stairs and general timber products.

The Role As a Bench Joiner, your duties may include:
Manufacturing bespoke timber windows, doors, stairs and general joinery Reading and working from technical drawings Measuring, cutting, assembling and finishing timber components Using workshop machinery, hand tools and joinery equipment Producing work to a high standard of accuracy and finish Working independently once given drawings and instructions Checking your own work for quality and detail Supporting the wider workshop team where required Keeping the workshop clean, organised and safe Following all health and safety procedures

What Were Looking For We are looking for candidates who:
Have previous bench joinery, workshop joinery or joinery shop experience Have a minimum of 2 years joinery experience, preferred Have worked in a joinery shop, timber workshop or bespoke manufacturing environment Can confidently read and work from technical drawings Have experience manufacturing windows, doors, stairs or similar bespoke timber products Are confident using joinery machinery, hand tools and workshop equipment Can work independently and know what they are doing once shown the job Have strong attention to detail and take pride in the finish of their work Are reliable, punctual and looking for long-term permanent work
