Overview

First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit an Electrical Fitter on a permanent basis due to growth located at their Dungannon (Northern Ireland) location.

Dungannon, Northern Ireland

Salary: £31,000 - £35,000

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assemble a variety of different components in the finishing end of production according to customer specification.
  • Quality check your own work and that of colleagues.
  • Experience using hand, air and electric tools to complete tasks.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
  • Liaise with Supervisors, Managers, and team members.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
  • Any other duties as required by the production manager to suit business needs.
  • Adherence to ISO 9001 quality management system.
  • Adherence to company health and safety procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience in fitting, assembly, manufacturing, engineering and mechanics.
  • Ideally you will have knowledge of mains AC and automotive DC electrical and hydraulic schematics and significant experience of electrical fault finding and diagnostics within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Ground Support Equipment would be advantageous as well as hydraulic pumps and valves.
  • Experience of handheld tools.
  • Ability to assemble consistently to a high standard.
  • Able to trouble shoot and solve problems.
  • A 'can do' attitude and ability to interact within a multifunctional team.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • Highest level of integrity, honesty and trust.
  • Ability to work in an environment that is fluid with constantly changing priorities.
  • A "Can do" resilient attitude and ability to interact with a multi-functional team.
  • Able to assess workload and commit to realistic timeline.
