Working hours/shift pattern - 2 weeks Days then 2 weeks nights Week 1 - Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Week 2 - Wednesday/Thursday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Week 3 - Monday/Tuesday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Week 4 - Wednesday/Thursday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am Join Our Engineering Team We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our fast-paced food production environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with strong electrical and mechanical expertise to play a key role in maintaining and improving site performance. Working closely with the Engineering Chargehand, Engineering Coordinators, and Maintenance Manager, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of production equipment while driving continuous improvement across the site.

Key Responsibilities Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair faults on PLC-controlled and automated machinery. Install, maintain, and repair single-phase and three-phase electrical systems. Work on high-voltage distribution systems and electric motors. Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical repairs. Maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical drive systems. Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings. Complete preventative maintenance schedules and associated documentation.

Support continuous improvement initiatives through fault finding and re-engineering activities. Provide technical support and advice to production teams when required. Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards. What We're Looking For Essential Time-served Electrical and Mechanical Engineer with industrial experience Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills Experience working with automated production machinery Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings

Experience with single-phase and three-phase motors Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities Desirable ?

Experience with PLC-controlled machinery ? Knowledge of high-voltage distribution systems ? Food manufacturing or high-speed packaging experience ?
