Process Operative - Hangers Team

We are looking for a dedicated Process Operative Hangers to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe - Dungannon
. In this role, you will be responsible for processing products in your department while ensuring that hygiene, quality, and health & safety standards are always maintained. A key part of this role is working as part of a team to achieve production KPIs.

Team A Rotating shift 5+2

Week 1 - Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun. Week 2 - Wed, Thurs.

Time : 05:45-17:45

• Carry out processing duties (e.g. hanging, filleting, sealing, trimming, basting, packing, defeathering or evisceration – depending on the area of work).
• Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality standards are maintained at all times.
• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Produce a high standard of work consistently.
• Perform packaging, labelling, and boxing tasks.
• Work in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
• Cooperate with managers and colleagues to achieve a safe and productive workplace.
• Report hazards, defects, or incidents promptly.

• Take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and others.
• Work in a safe manner and comply with Company Health & Safety Rules.
• Wear protective clothing and equipment provided.
• Report incidents or hazards immediately.

• Ability to read and write .
• Numeracy skills.
• Good communication skills.
• English language proficiency .

• Good interpersonal skills.
• A food hygiene qualification.
• Awareness of Food Processing industry standards.
• Knife handling experience.
• Previous experience in a butchery or food processing environment.
• Data recording or computer/keyboard skills.
