Excellent opportunity for a Marketing Officer to join a well-established organisation within the construction sector on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the potential to become permanent. About the Role

The Marketing Officer will play a key role in supporting the company's marketing strategy and enhancing brand awareness across multiple regions. This position is ideal for a creative, proactive marketing professional who enjoys developing engaging content and managing a variety of marketing initiatives from concept through to delivery.

Working within a small and agile marketing team, the successful candidate will support a broad range of campaigns, communications, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, and deliver marketing campaigns that promote the company's projects, services, and brand.
  • Create engaging marketing content, including photography (drone photography experience desirable), graphics, and video content from concept through to final production.
  • Design high-quality marketing materials such as infographics, presentations, promotional literature, and digital graphics.
  • Develop and manage content across social media platforms, website updates, press releases, and short-form video channels.
  • Support the planning and delivery of corporate events, project launches, site visits, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
  • Monitor marketing performance and prepare reports analysing campaign effectiveness and key performance metrics.
  • Coordinate multiple marketing projects in line with departmental objectives and marketing plans.
  • Assist with the management of marketing budgets and prepare updates for internal management and board reporting.
  • Stay informed of industry trends and identify opportunities to enhance marketing activity and brand visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to support project-specific marketing initiatives.
  • Produce clear, engaging, and consistent communications that reflect the organisation's values and brand identity.
  • Support community engagement and social value initiatives where required.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills Essential
  • Third-level qualification in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in a marketing role.
  • Strong experience producing creative content across digital and traditional marketing channels.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and/or Canva.
  • Experience in photography, video production, and video editing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and project management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
  • High level of creativity and attention to detail.

Desirable
  • Previous experience within the construction, engineering, or built environment sectors.
  • Experience using drone photography or videography for marketing purposes.
