Development Officer

Job Role:

Development Officer in Dungannon. Our client is a community-owned company and a Community Economic Development Organisation. They are recruiting a passionate and skilled Development Officer to support their Board in order to develop a c.6 hectare site to meet the wider needs of the local community.

Job Purpose:

The role will focus on project development, strategic partnership and community engagement, ensuring that the organisation continues to meet its mission of fostering economic empowerment and sustainable growth within the community. Full or part time will be considered for the successful candidate.

• Community Engagement & Stakeholder relations
• Develop Grant applications
• Project Development & Management

• A third level qualification in Community Economic Development, Rural Development, Business Administration & management, or a related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a non-profit community development, or economic development organisation.
• Experience in fundraising, grant writing and community engagement is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders
• Strong project management skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
