Poultry Farm Supervisor

Vickerstock are working with a poultry business to recruit an experienced Poultry Supervisor to take responsibility for the day-to-day management and performance of a site housing approximately 37,000 hens for the Dungannon based farm.

This is a hands-on management role, overseeing flock performance, egg production, bird welfare and the overall running of the farm.

• Manage the day-to-day operation of a poultry site housing approximately 37,000 hens.
• Monitor egg production, flock performance and mortality rates, identifying and addressing any issues.
• Oversee the management and performance of the hen houses.
• Monitor bird health, welfare and overall flock condition.
• Manage and support farm staff, ensuring high standards are maintained across the site.
• Maintain accurate production and flock records and monitor performance against targets.
• Oversee farm maintenance and ensure facilities and equipment are operating effectively.
• Manage relevant farm audits and ensure compliance with required standards.
• Maintain strong standards across biosecurity, health & safety and animal welfare.
• Identify opportunities to improve flock performance and overall farm efficiency.

• Previous experience within poultry farming, flock management or a similar agricultural management position.
• Strong understanding of poultry production and bird welfare.
• Experience managing people and overseeing day-to-day farm operations.
• Good understanding of production performance, mortality and flock KPIs.
• Organised, practical and confident in making decisions on site.

• Previous experience managing a large-scale poultry site.
• Experience with farm audits and compliance requirements.
• Relevant agricultural or poultry-related qualifications.
