Your new role

As Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring product quality across finished machines and sub-assemblies. Working closely with the Quality leadership team, you will be responsible for inspection, reporting and quality control processes to ensure high standards are consistently achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out final run and testing of machines
• Lead and contribute to PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) report-out meetings
• Complete PDI reports and associated documentation
• Conduct internal audits and routine inspections of fabricated components
• Identify, investigate and address quality concerns on a daily basis
• Control and issue serial plates for completed machines
• Escalate ongoing or recurring quality issues where required
• Maintain and update dispatch records, including engine numbers and serial data
• Support quality investigations and continuous improvement activities
• Liaise with suppliers and customers, including supporting site visits when required

What you'll need to succeed

• Basic IT/computer skills
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities
• Good awareness of health & safety practices
• Ability to produce clear and accurate written reports

Desirable:

• Experience with in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Knowledge of heavy machinery or similar products
• Continuous improvement experience
• Electrical and/or hydraulic knowledge
