Looking for a dynamic opportunity to make a real impact in quality compliance? Our client, a leading organisation within the manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Compliance Co-Ordinator to join their team and support the commitment to excellence.
Working collaboratively across all site functions, the Compliance and Quality Systems Co-Ordinator is responsible for monitoring and auditing the quality, hygiene, food safety and microbiological aspects of manufacturing to ensure compliance to legal, third party and customer standards. They are also responsible for raising notifications to suppliers for quality incidents and for liaising with suppliers to close these in a timely and effective manner.

Aboutyou
- Minimum 12 months experience in a Quality Assurance role within Food Safety or Quality Management Systems (e.g., BRC, ISO 9001)
OR
- 24 months in Thermoforming, Offset Printing, or Injection Moulding with a good understanding of quality assurance practices
Desirable
- Knowledge of internal auditing and GMP standards is advantageous
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Excellent attention to detail and systematic approach
- Ability to influence and motivate at all levels
- Generate and manage Product Specifications and Declarations of Compliance for customer requirements
- Coordinate site's GPUK compliance and Change Management processes, ensuring timely closure of action logs
- Lead auditing programmes to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO, BRC, FDA
- Support the implementation of quality & food safety training, including conducting inductions and awareness sessions
- Maintain Approved Suppliers List and oversee testing of product samples
- Manage non-conformances and collaborate with suppliers towards timely resolutions
- Assist in maintaining site accreditations and compile KPI data for reporting
- Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders to uphold quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives
