As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will operate a flatbed vehicle transporting engineering materials and equipment to multiple sites. You will be responsible for the safe loading, securing, and timely delivery of goods, ensuring full compliance with DVSA regulations and company safety standards. The role involves multi-site deliveries, daily vehicle checks, accurate completion of delivery documentation, and maintaining a professional and reliable presence on the road and on-site.
Flexibility and a strong commitment to safety are essential.
- Operate HGV Class 1 flatbed to transport materials safely
- Load/unload goods
- Liaise with planning
- Follow road safety and comply with drivers hours rules
- Perform vehicle checks
- Manage paperwork
- Valid UK HGV Class 1 (C and
E) licence with 6 months experience - Driver CPC
- Tachograph Card
- Skilled in load handling and vehicle checks
