Class 2 Driver

Position: Class 2 Day Driver
MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Class 2 driver to work day shifts Monday to Friday. You will be based in Swindon and have the opportunity to turn permanent after the initial 13 weeks. Hours of work:
Days Shifts 6AM Starts till finish 8 - 12hrs Salary: £16.00 per hour

The Role:

Working for a local wholesale in the area 4-10 drops a day Delivering Products Delivering to businesses, Vehicles can be loaded for the driver and sometimes driver may need to load vehicle. Handballing will be involved Duties/Responsibilities:
Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner. To complete all work-related paperwork in full and hand it in at the end of the shift. Essential

Skills:

MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE Must hold a valid HGV 2 / Cat C licence. Must hold a valid driver qualification (CPC) card. Must hold a valid Digital tacho card. Good communication skills. Good customer relations. Have a safe driving record. No more than 6 minor penalty points due to insurance stipulations. No DRs, INs or DDs offence codes due to insurance stipulations.

If you're physically fit, reliable and have strong work ethic then this could be for you. Geographical knowledge of Swindon and surrounding areas is beneficial. You must have a valid CPC/Tachograph card with no more than 6 minor penalty points. MINIMUM 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm Ability to commute/relocate:
