Transport Planner

Transport Planner £40,000 - £45,000 + Benefits + Progression Dungannon Are you an experienced Transport Planner? Are you looking for an opportunity to progress your career into a Senior role? Working alongside the existing Transport team, you will be planning across a variety of sectors including bulk, tank & general haulage. Managing the fleet & trailer usage and complying with EU tachograph laws is essential and a sound geographical knowledge of Northern Ireland would be beneficial. Working within a close-knit team, you will have the opportunity to be part of a highly efficient operation that focuses on exceeding customer expectations whilst also gaining the opportunity for further career growth.

Over time, this role will develop into a Transport/Operations Management position. If have a good understanding of EU Tachograph Regulations, WTD and excel in a constantly challenging environment, this is a great opportunity to join a growing transport firm, that will develop their staff with long term career options.

The Role:

Plan daily work schedule and routing for drivers Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently on a daily basis Manage Driver & Vehicle scheduling Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental and company policies Work with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are maintained Monday to Friday, Saturdays on rotation You will need:
Transport Planning Experience Strong knowledge of EU Tachograph Laws & WTD Excellent customer service skills to deal with customers, drivers and third parties. Excellent communicator and can work in a fast-paced environment TM CPC would be advantageous but not compulsory What you will receive:
