Van Driver

iRecruit4 are recruiting for a Van Driver to join a busy team on a permanent basis. This is a varied, hands-on role combining local and longer-distance deliveries and collections with warehouse duties. Alongside driving, you will be responsible for picking and packing orders, loading and unloading vehicles, checking stock and helping to ensure the warehouse runs smoothly. Hours, Pay & Benefits for Van Driver: £27,000 Salary Permanent position Two bonus payments per year Monday to Thursday: 8:00am–4:30pm Friday: 8:00am–3:30pm Full-time, Monday to Friday Counterbalance forklift licence desirable but not essential Early finish Friday Career progression On site parking

Key Responsibilities for Van Driver:
Carrying out local and longer-distance deliveries and collections Completing approximately 5–10 drops per day, depending on workload Loading and unloading the van and ensuring orders are secure Using handheld scanners to scan and track goods during warehouse operations and deliveries Completing delivery paperwork accurately Picking and packing customer orders ready for despatch Receiving, checking and putting away incoming stock Carrying out stock checks, bagging bulk stock and preparing kits Maintaining high standards of health and safety Working closely with the warehouse team and other departments to ensure orders are processed efficiently Requirements for Van Driver:
Previous van driving and/or warehouse experience Full, clean driving licence Aged 25 or over due to vehicle insurance requirements Good organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable with manual handling and lifting If you're ready to join a busy warehouse team and start work immediately, we'd love to hear from you.
