Ophthalmology Opportunity in Dunkirk, NY Buffalo 75mFull Time Permanent Position Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)

Position Overview:

Seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist to join a multidisciplinary in Dunkirk, NY. The physician will provide a full range of medical and surgical eye care services to a diverse patient population in a community health setting. Compensation:
Salary: $220,000 - $300,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose ocular conditions Conduct surgical procedures including cataract, glaucoma, refractive, corneal, oculoplastic, and vitreoretinal surgeries Prescribe and manage medications, corrective lenses, and therapeutic interventions Provide post-operative care and follow-up management Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests Educate patients on ocular health and preventive care Collaborate with other healthcare professionals for integrated patient care Refer patients to subspecialists as needed Participate in teaching and mentoring of interns or residents

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency Licensed to practice in New York State CPR certified Skilled in ophthalmic surgical and laser procedures Strong manual dexterity and clinical judgment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Benefits:
