American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 3 years of ER experience and the ability to float between campuses.

• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM-7:00 AM), 36 hours per week
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• Floating required between both campuses (Betsy Johnson and Central Harnett) as needed
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending license not accepted)
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 3 years of ER experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

• Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital with 733 staffed beds
• Short-term acute care facility setting
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue and white
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of Betsy Johnson and Central Harnett campuses to be eligible
• RTO approvals are at manager's discretion
• Returning travelers must be gone for 1 year before returning to this system
• Contract extensions limited to one renewal, then a 6-month gap required before returning
