Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard - Retail Patrol Driver in Dunn, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout retail distribution locations. You will interact with visitors and staff, provide excellent customer service, and support access control measures.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting in managing any disruptions that may arise.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control procedures, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized individuals from entering restricted areas.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or any security-related occurrences observed during patrols.
- Provide visible presence and support to store staff, customers, and visitors, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
