Warehouse Associate 1st Shift - DC

ADUSA Distribution is the distribution company of Ahold Delhaize USA, providing distribution services to one of the largest grocery retail supply chains in the nation. ADUSA Distribution receives, stores, manages inventory, and ships fresh and non-perishable product throughout the network of local brand stores.

The Primary Purpose of this role is to perform distribution center shipping/receiving functions as a Warehouse Associate. This includes being an essential part of moving product accurately and safely throughout the Distribution Center.

• Perform shipping and receiving tasks as assigned by supervisor or designee
• Complete documents related to shipping and receiving tasks
• Select and palletize orders for shipment to retail stores accurately
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow good sanitation practices and keep work area clean
• Make recommendations for process improvements

• Certified on powered industrial equipment where applicable
• Able to use a personal computer for data entry and research
• Highly motivated self-starter and team player with strong attention to detail
• High School Education
• Familiarity with a distribution environment

• Ability to reach, stoop, bend, and lift up to 80 lbs repetitively
• Ability to meet production standards
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to read and understand written and numeric product identifiers
• Must be able to work needed schedule
