We are looking for a high-energy recruiter who thrives on sourcing subcontractors and getting them ready to work fast.

This is a hands-on recruitment role, not a management position. You will be sourcing, qualifying and onboarding subcontractors at pace to support a busy operational team.

You will be trusted to get out there, find the right people and mobilise them quickly.

You will also have the freedom to use your own networks, sourcing methods and initiative to build a strong subcontractor pipeline.

If you enjoy hitting targets, solving problems quickly and making things happen, this role will suit you perfectly.

The initial contract is 3 months with strong potential to become permanent for the right person.

We are a fast-growing maintenance and repairs business working with housing providers across multiple regions.

What You'll Be Doing

* Actively sourcing subcontractors and tradespeople across multiple trades

* Using job boards, networks, referrals and direct outreach to find the right people quickly

* Qualifying contractors to assess skills, availability and suitability

* Managing onboarding and compliance checks

* Ensuring subcontractors have the required documentation including DBS checks, insurance and certifications

* Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of ready-to-work subcontractors

* Working closely with operational teams to mobilise resources quickly when needed

* In volume recruitment environments

* Recruiting trades, construction or technical roles

You will enjoy working quickly, solving problems and getting things done.

Your First 30 Days

We move quickly and we are looking for someone who does the same.

In your first 30 days you will aim to:

* Build a pipeline of subcontractors across multiple trades

* Successfully onboard and mobilise new subcontractors ready for work

* Establish strong working relationships with our operational teams

* Create a live pool of compliant, ready-to-work tradespeople
