Job Title: Sales Valuer
Location: Dunstable
Salary: Up to £50,000 OTE
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm
1 in 3 Saturdays: 9:00am – 4:00pm (with a day off in lieu)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Valuer to join a well-established and highly regarded estate agency business. This is a key role within a motivated, target-driven team, focused on winning new instructions, growing the property register, and delivering a first-class customer experience.
You will play a pivotal role in maximising branch performance by carrying out property valuations, building strong client relationships, and supporting branch management in achieving business objectives.
This role is suited to experienced residential sales professionals with proven valuation and listing experience.
The RoleAs a Sales Valuer, your responsibilities will include:
- Winning new instructions and growing the property register
- Carrying out accurate and professional property valuations
- Identifying and maximising new business opportunities
- Advertising properties and overseeing the booking of viewings
- Registering applicants and matching buyers to suitable properties
- Delivering exceptional customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Achieving individual and branch sales targets
- Building strong relationships with vendors, buyers, and internal colleagues
- Acting as a key point of communication between vendors and applicants
- Networking within the local community to generate new business opportunities
- Preparing accurate property details and ensuring correct data entry
- Progressing sales from viewing stage through to completion
- Supporting branch management with ad hoc tasks as required
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of two years’ experience as a residential sales agent
- Proven success in winning new business and securing instructions
- Previous listing and/or valuation experience
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- A high standard of customer service and professional presentation
- Excellent communication skills and telephone manner
- A positive, proactive attitude with strong self-motivation
- Tenacity and resilience, with a genuine drive to succeed
- The ability to build and maintain trusted relationships at all levels
