Class 1 Driver

Location: Houghton Regis

GI Group are currently recruiting Class 1 drivers for our Internationally known client across the UK. This company provides courier services worldwide, focusing on the express road-based market and offering services such as delivery, freight forwarding, and logistics. They operate in numerous countries and are known for their technology, customer service, and commitment to sustainability.

Drivers shifts and Pay:

We are looking for C+E Drivers to work on an ongoing basis:

- Monday to Friday

- (Apply online only)

- £17.12 per hour
* * Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

Class 1 Driver duties will include:

- Conducting Vehicle pre-checks

- Making 5-10 deliveries / collections per day

- Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK

- Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

Driver requirements:

- A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.

- No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes

- 6 months + Class 1 driving experience

- Valid and in date Tachograph and CPC qualifications
