Van Driver

We are looking for a temp to perm Van Driver to start immediately for our client based in Dunstable. This role is long distance driving on either a Luton van or a low loader van.

Monday to Friday 07:00AM

• Have Category B License
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Van Driver due to client insurance purposes
• Have no more than 6 points on your licence
• Knowledge of strapping down the load
• Experience driving Luton vans
• Have a Sat Nav
• Have Safety Boots & Hi Vis

• Make deliveries of up to 14 cylinders through long distance driving. Some routes cover Skegness, Brighton, Portsmouth and London
• Follow the client's routing system
• Good communication with the depot and customers whilst out on deliveries
• Knowledge of bridge heights
• Be quick on your feet

• Agency pay for the first 12 weeks (60 shifts) - £13.68 per hour inclusive of holiday pay
• The successful candidate will then go on a full time contract with client of 40 hours per week plus overtime after 40 hours (salary £26,028.20 )
• 24 days annual leave plus bank holiday (3 days must be taken between Christmas and New Year)
