HGV class 2 Dustcart

We are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 Dustcart Drivers in Dunstable for immediate start roles with a well-established waste management company. As an HGV Class 2 Dustcart Driver (Refuse Driver), you will be responsible for operating a dustcart vehicle on planned residential and commercial waste collection routes across Dunstable and surrounding areas.

This is a hands-on driving role where you will lead a team of loaders while ensuring collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

• Driving a Class 2 dustcart (refuse vehicle) on assigned routes
• Supervising and working alongside a team of loaders
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and waste regulations
• Assisting with bin collections when required
• Completing all route paperwork and documentation
• Providing a reliable and professional waste collection service

• £19.00 per hour Holiday Inclusive
• Weekly pay
• Full-time, ongoing work
• Monday to Friday shifts (no weekends)

• Valid HGV Class 2 Licence (Category
  
  C)
• CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous dustcart / refuse experience preferred
• Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
• Good understanding of UK road and safety regulations
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
