Senior Property Accountant

Responsibilities

• Daily entry of rent receipts into the property management software
• Ensures delinquency reports are correct and contacts property management and Director of Accounting about serious delinquencies
• Managing accounts payable and processing bill payments on a weekly basis including entry of all payments into the property management software
• Ensuring sufficient cash flow to fund the operations of the property and meet all debt obligations in a timely manner/review funding requests with supervisor and if needed assist with funding requests to owners and/or lenders and/or capital calls

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of property accounting experience;
  Commercial Office preferred
• Strong understanding of prepaids, accruals, and financial statement preparation
• Excellent time management and ownership of responsibilities
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
