Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health care and will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations through interviews, observations, and assessments.
  • Diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Prescribe and manage appropriate medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
  • Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
  • Stay informed about advancements in psychiatry and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a residency program in psychiatry.
  • Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
  • Valid medical license to practice in Georgia
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric principles and practices, including various psychotherapeutic methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
