Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health care and will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of psychiatric disorders.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations through interviews, observations, and assessments.
- Diagnose mental health disorders and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage appropriate medications, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and nurses, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Stay informed about advancements in psychiatry and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice.
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in psychiatry.
- Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry.
- Valid medical license to practice in Georgia
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric principles and practices, including various psychotherapeutic methods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with medical advancements.
