Manage resources within the technical team to meet both internal and external NPI milestones in accordance with the company’s financial objectives.
- Design and maintain efficient machining processes that meet customer requirements and quality standards.
- Support project planning by reviewing manufacturability, estimating costs, and providing technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts for machining issues and support Operations and Quality teams with technical guidance.
- Recommend and help design tooling, fixtures, and equipment to improve part production.
- Identify and implement process improvements using LEAN principles.
- Maintain accurate documentation for engineering changes and machining procedures.
- Collaborate with CNC Programming to ensure programs are ready and verified before production starts.
- Assist with integrating new equipment into the machining workflow.
- Intermediate experience with CAD/CAM systems utilizing solid modeling.
- Intermediate experience utilizing an ERP system.
- Proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
- Experience working within an ISO environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in the design and selection of fixturing and tooling for complex parts.
- Experience in a precision machine shop environment.
- LEAN / Six Sigma training and demonstrated application.
